About
As an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Alecia has worked with a range of clients treating conditions including chronic lower back pain, arthritis, osteoporosis, musculoskeletal injury, post-natal recovery, cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and lung disease.
Alecia has worked with diabetic clients supporting them with prescribed exercise programs and her clients’ conditions have improved significantly. Under the supervision of their GP, one of Alecia’s clients was able to come off medication and is now managing their condition through leading a healthier lifestyle including regular exercise and healthy nutrition.
Another success story is a client who had been diagnosed with Osteoporosis and was no longer Osteoporotic after 2 years of following an exercise program prescribed by Alecia.
Alecia also teaches a range of fun and social group classes at inSports including Gentle Exercise, Move More and Pilates. These classes are for all abilities and she ensures that every exercise has safe options for those who are managing an injury or condition.
When not helping clients, she enjoys time with her family at the local pool or park, running, and time on the mat for Pilates and Yoga.
