Centres now open

The State Government has announced a further easing of restrictions that means that from Monday 6 July there will be a few more changes at the gym, which should make it easier for you to attend.

We still need to comply with our industry’s COVID safe plan. We greatly appreciate the cooperation you have shown to date and thank you for your understanding as we now work to ensure we meet the Stage 3 requirements.

Please take a moment to read about the changes that are taking effect from Monday.

What is changing

  • You no longer need to book in for a gym session. Gym room capacities have changed in line with the revised COVID safe plan. Please observe signs posted in our facilities and follow the instructions of venue staff at all times.
  • Bookings will only need to be made for some Group Fitness Classes at Logan North Aquatic and Fitness Centre. These include Yoga, Pilates, Gentle Exercise, Move More and all Aqua classes - click here for available classes and times. Bookings can be made up to one week in advance.
  • Class timetables will continue to be reviewed and revised so please check the website for regular updates
  • Showers and change rooms will once again be available for use at all venues.
  • Group classes catering for people with chronic illness and at-risk groups are planned to resume in two weeks time on Monday 20 July
  • Fitness Passport memberships will be reactivated on Friday 10 July so if you hold a Passport please resume use in the usual way from that date.
  • Childminding services are now available at all centres with additional hygiene precautions in place.

What stays the same

  • All Aqua classes still require bookings. These can be made up to one week in advance.
  • Please continue to bring a filled water bottle as water fountains, bubblers and any other shared dinking equipment remains closed.
  • Physical distancing, personal hygiene, health checks and the recording of visits as well as our intensive cleaning regime remain unchanged.
  • If you are unwell please stay home and do not attend the gym.

Fitness Class bookings

  • Walk-ins for fitness classes are now accepted at Logan Metro and Mt Warren sports centres. Unfortunately, walk-ins are still not permitted for some group fitness classes at Logan North - click here for available classes, times and updates.
  • If you need to cancel your booking, please call us in advance with as much notice as possible to give others an opportunity to fill the spot
  • The current shorter class times will remain to ensure no overlap between patrons arriving and leaving and provide adequate cleaning time for equipment
  • Physical distancing must be adhered to at all times
  • Members will be asked to arrive no more than 10 minutes before the class and leave promptly when the class finishes
  • The number of participants in all classes will be limited
  • If you need to cancel your booking, please call us in advance with as much notice as possible to give others an opportunity to fill the spot
