About

Brent is our in-house allied health care expert. Alongside his extensive qualification list, he has an immense passion for positive, mental and physical health behaviours with an aim to improve education on the clinical science of physical activity.

With his training and experience as an Exercise Scientist, Strength and Conditioning Coach and Clinical Exercise Physiologist, Brent ensures his patients are prescribed the most effective tools, enabling them to take control of their health in a way that best suits their individual needs.

His ‘exercise as medicine’ approach to assisting individuals with a range of health conditions, incorporates persistent pain, mental health issues, metabolic and neurological conditions and high-performance athletic development. This approach provides patients with exceptional results. Brent’s main goal is to help people become their best physical selves.

From a non-clinical perspective, Brent’s extensive involvement in martial arts coaching (technical skills, athletic development, and performance management), has taken him all over Australia for the past 15 years and he has successfully coached athletes to victory at both national and international levels. He has an active interest in martial arts personally, holding black belt levels in three styles of karate and lesser ranks in taekwondo, kung fu, jujitsu and krav maga.

Brent can see clients privately as well as through Medicare Bulk Bill referral, NDIS, DVA and Private Health Fund. He also teaches a range of fun and social group classes here at inSports including Gentle Exercise, Move More, and inSpire. These classes are for all abilities and Brent ensures that every exercise has safe options for those who are managing an injury or condition.

On a personal note, Brent adores large dogs and eating delicious food.
